Negotiation for a Raise or Career Advancement

Throughout your career, either when interviewing for a job or working on a team, you need to have negotiation skills. This one-hour workshop, presented by expert mediator Ellen Kandell Esq., President of Alternative Resolutions, focuses on interest- based negotiation concepts.

Using some relevant fact patterns you will be able to plan your negotiation and practice it with a partner. You will leave with salary negotiation tips and a negotiation planning guide.

Sign up for the workshop at this link. Students need to sign in to your Handshake account to access the RSVP. Contact [email protected] if you have questions!

This multipart interactive series of workshops, provided by the Center for Women in Engineering, along with W. Scott Amey Career Services Center, and the GW Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is dedicated to demystifying the processes faced by women engineers and computer scientists as they search for an internship or a job after graduation. The series is being videotaped. Download the flier of upcoming workshops.

Pizza is provided at each session. All are hosted in SEH 2000.
